 Each UK manufactured Kitchen Unit from National Kitchens is built to order under strict Quality Control procedures. The following information shows how solid and durable our kitchens are.

 Any kitchen unit is only as good as the board that’s used to make it. Our manufacturer uses a 19mm board supplied by one of the industry leaders, Egger. To the layman, the extra 1 to 4mm that our board is bigger than others may not seem important, but there is currently no board of this thickness that is denser than ours! This leads to a stronger, more durable carcase. Egger was chosen to supply this board as they’re one of the few companies offering such a high quality, dense material. This coupled with Egger’s ability to offer exactly the colours that we require to colour co-ordinate carcase with doors, make them the obvious choice.

 In the construction of the units, only the best fittings have been used. All drawer boxes, hinges and fittings are supplied by Blum, another industry leader. The Blum Tandembox Titanium Drawer with Blumotion Soft Close system ‘grabs’ the drawer in the last 50mm of closing providing a gentle and controlled closure, making drawer slamming a thing of the past. Blum Soft Close Hinges provide strong, reliable door hanging while also offering easy door removal with their clip-on clip-off system. The hinges have been rigorously tested for wear and fatigue; including 200,000 opening/closing cycles and load and abuse testing to support their lifetime guarantee. These Blum systems work together in creating that slam-free environment. All our kitchen units use these fittings as standard.

 Our rigid kitchens cater for every taste and pocket, always using only top quality products. Whichever door you choose, whether it is an MFC door edged in thick and robust PVC, a Vinyl Wrapped door sculpted using the latest computer controlled machinery, or a Solid Timber door covered with a fine veneer to ensure the most consistent finish, you can be assured we continue to use only the best available materials.

 Each rigid kitchen unit comes together in a production line where the carcases are assembled by hand with joints being glued and dowelled. The units are squared under pressure then doors and drawers are fitted. The completely ready-built units are clad in heavy duty polystyrene protectors and completely wrapped in plastic. Your whole order is collated by your assembly team then collected by our delivery company who will liaise with you directly to ensure a mutually convenient delivery time. Throughout, a stringent Quality Control procedure helps ensure that every kitchen unit arrives in only the best condition.
