Handing, LH or RH??
Be sure to choose the correct 'Handing' when ordering your units. If the unit is available Left or Right Handed, simply choose the appropriate unit for your kitchen design. LH means the door will be hinged on and open to the Left. Likewise, RH means the same but hinged on the Right.
Is VAT included in the prices?
The price, excluding and including VAT, is shown on each product. VAT is added to the final price at the Shopping Cart stage.
What exactly comes with the Fully Assembled units that I’m ordering?
All our 'Assembled' or 'Rigid' Kitchen Units are supplied to you fully constructed with the doors hung and drawers fitted. Inside each unit you'll find a Fittings Pack which includes legs and attachments needed to fit the unit to the wall. Once your units are fitted in place you need only fit remaining accessories (ordered separately) like plinth, cornice, pelmet, lighting and handles to complete your desired look.
Kitchen Price Groups - which is the cheapest/dearest?
Each of our ranges falls within five price groups, ranging from A the cheapest, to E the most expensive. They are, in Price Group A: Simply and Strata B: Cosmopolitan, Jersey, Seta and Cambridge Vinyl. C: Napoli Gloss and Washington. D:Colonial, Lanchester Oak and Keston Painted Shaker. E: Milan Handleless Gloss, Redford Pippy Oak and Lanchester Painted. Whichever range you choose, you get the same top quality rigid cabinet.
When do I pay and how long from the time you confirm my order till delivery?
You can compile your order online, select a delivery date and pay the full amount via Secure Trading's secure payment gateway there and then. We’ll confirm the delivery date with you within 2 working days. Alternatively you can compile a list of units you require then send it to us for pricing. Once you’re happy to go ahead we’ll take a deposit, typically 60% of total order value, with the balance due a minimum of 7 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. We will usually get your kitchen to you within 4 weeks of our order confirmation to you.

Fitting your kitchen....
National Kitchens run a Supply Only service. Fitting your kitchen cabinets is a job not to be taken lightly, especially where plumbing is concerned and any electrics work should only be undertaken by professionals. Your kitchen comes fully assembled and can take up a lot of space so booking your fitter ahead of time, to start on delivery, is highly recommended.
Does the colour of your kitchen units match the doors?
The vast majority of our kitchen doors match their units, inside and out however, we do have some hand-painted doors within the Milan, Monza and Lanchester Painted ranges which cannot include a matching carcass. For these kitchens we recommend using matching painted end panels to finish your kitchen off.
I’ve made a mistake on my order, what can I do?
Your kitchen is made to order, and as such once construction commences it is too late to cancel any item and you remain liable for the full costs. Changes, without penalty, can normally be made to your order up to a week after we receive it. Additions to your order can be made at any time. A quick courier delivery service of additional items is often possible, contact us for details.
Fridge/Freezer Housings, I see I can order some of these with loose doors, why?
We have made un-drilled doors available on some units to suit certain appliances. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer's instructions for the appliance, your kitchen fitter or order it loose, the doors can always be fitted later if required.
Appliance unit for Dishwasher, Washing Machine or Base Fridge / Freezer, where?
No carcase is required for integrated appliances that sit under your worktop. These appliances sit between units or on the end of a run of units and need a door only. These can be found under the red 'Decor' tab when quoting or placing your order. If your appliance is on the end of a run of units, don't forget to order a Base End Panel if needed; you'll find these under the same 'Decor' tab then Side & Filler Panels.
How safe is your website, can I use my credit card securely?
We use Secure Trading for all our online transactions; a company who is committed to providing the highest levels of internet and physical security to ensure your sensitive information is never compromised. Your credit/debit card details are secured within 128-bit encrypted sessions, additionally your information is stored on a heavily encrypted database that is protected by multiple government approved firewalls. When you buy our products and pay online, your details are funnelled directly through Secure Trading’s secure servers rather than our site, meaning that should anyone ever gain unauthorised access to our database, the information they obtain will not allow them to recover your credit card details or other sensitive information. Guarantee / Warranty: What guarantee comes with my kitchen?
Every kitchen supplied by National Kitchens UK comes with a 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee for carcasses and 5 years for doors. In the rare event that a manufacturing defect does arise, your unit or door replacement will be shipped direct to your home.
